About the H.O.P.E. Scholarship

In 2001, Jacquelyn Hayes set up the Reginald and Frances Hayes H.O.P.E. Scholarship Fund (Helping Others Prosper from Education) for students at her alma mater, University of Illinois. Since that time, students have been impacted each year by the generous gift from Jacki through this fund.

The Office of Minority Student Affairs at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign hosts the annual Mom’s Day Scholastic Awards Ceremony. This event celebrates the academic accomplishments of African-American, Latino/Latina, Native American, President’s Award Program students and Educational Opportunities Program students.

If you’d like to contribute to the annual H.O.P.E. Scholarship fund, more information can be found at the Office of Minority Student Affairs of the University of Illinois.
